On December 2, 2021, Susan was appointed as chairman of the board at The Walt Disney Company. By doing so, She became the first woman to chair the company in the 98-year history of Disney.
Susan who has been a board member for 14 years, will succeed Bob Iger on Dec. 31. Bob will step down as Disney’s chief executive officer after 15 years in the role.
He is set to leave the company by the end of December 2021.
