David Amess married his long-time girlfriend, Julia Arnold, in an event that was private. Only close family friends and workmates actually learned about the wedding. Together the couple has five children; one son and four daughters.
David Amess is a British politician. He is also a member of the Conservative Party and has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 1983.
He was an MP for Basildon and since 1997, for Southend West.
Their son, David Amess Jr– was jailed in 2005 for wounding with intent. This was after he smashed a bottle of champagne over a man’s head in a nightclub.
Their eldest daughter is actress Katie Amess. In 2013, Katie, publicly criticized her father’s stance on same-sex marriage after, producing a film in support of gay people and their rights.
