Who is Harry Brooksbank? Relationship with Michael Eavis explained. Cause of Death revealed.

Harry Brooksbank, 27, is best known for being the grandson of Michael Eavis, Glastonbury’s owner. Harry is reported to have passed away after his car crashed onto a pole.

Eavis has five children and 19 grandchildren. Harry however is his grandkid from his marriage to second wife Jean.  Jean died in 1999 as a result of cancer.

Harry and his driver were close to the Glastonbury’s main gate in Pilton, Somerset, when his Ford Fiesta collided with a pole(A361). This incident happened in the early hours of Friday (December 10).

The road was closed in both directions while investigations took place.

Harry Brooksbank Obituary and Tributes

Tributes have been paid to the “wonderful, warm, fun-loving” Harry, who is said to have been loved by many.

His family said in a statement: “We are all heartbroken by the tragic loss of Harry, a wonderfully warm, fun-loving son and brother. We will miss him dreadfully.

“We would like to thank everyone for their love and support.”

The Rifleman’s Arms pub posted a picture of Harry and went on to send their condolences on Facebook. They wrote: “Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family of Harry Brooksbank who can only be described as one of our favorite customers!”

“The most genuine, nicest guy we’ve had the pleasure of knowing, always smiling and charming, we are truly devastated. No one will ever rock a tash as you did.”

“Sending love to all that are hurting right now.”
