Daniel James Barden was born on 2 January 2001(20 years old) in Wales, United Kingdom.
He is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Scottish Premiership club Livingston on loan from Norwich City.
Barden signed for Norwich City from Arsenal in January 2019. He then spent the 2019–20 season on loan at Bury Town, making 26 appearances in all competitions.
In March 2020 he signed a new contract with Norwich. He made his Football League debut on 29 December 2020 when he replaced the injured Michael McGovern at half-time during Norwich’s 1–1 draw with Queens Park Rangers.

In a statement released by Norwich City, the club can confirm that Dan has been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
After the initial diagnosis, Barden has since undergone follow-up tests and will also continue with a closely monitored treatment program over the coming period.
Barden said: “It has been a very difficult and challenging period, but the support of my family, friends, and colleagues has helped get me through the last few weeks. I can’t thank the medical departments at both Norwich and Livingston enough, as well as everyone at the Royal Marsden Hospital.”
