Chester Marlon “Chet” Hanks was born on August 4, 1990, Los Angeles, California, USA.
Chet is an American actor and musician who s best known as the son of actor Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. He is also known for recurring roles on the TV Shows Empire and Shameless. He played rapper Blake on hip-hop drama Empire from 2018 to 2019.
Hanks currently appears as Joey Maldini in the Showtime legal drama Your Honor.
In 2011, while a student at Northwestern University, Hanks recorded “White and Purple” under the alias Chet Haze. The song was a remix of Wiz Khalifa’s single “Black and Yellow” with the lyrics changed in reference to his school colors.
In the summer of 2020, Hanks posted on Instagram in support of the Black Lives Matter movement citing threats being made to his family. Also after his return to Instagram(earlier in the month), he posted a video, insulting Donald Trump on November 7, the day that news outlets called the 2020 United States presidential election for Joe Biden.

In the early 2010s, Chet realized that it was time he pulled himself together and as a result of his revelation, He went into a rehab center. He got out of the rehab center in 2014 and remained sober for months.
By mid-October, Chet had begun selling Cocaine and becoming a consumer all over again. He went to rehab twice in a succession with the help of his parents, but it was only in 2016 when he learned that he had a daughter that his drug use came to a hard halt.
