Career
Katerina is the former press secretary of Shakhtar owner Rinat Akhmetov, Fonseca’s former club. She is reported to have quit her job when Paul was offered the head role at Roma.
Just as Fonseca is set to take over Steve Bruce’s job at Newcastle United, Katerina, is also set to relocate to London. With her, she will move with her son whom, she welcomed in 2019 together with her husband.

Paulo Alexandre Rodrigues Fonseca was born on 5 March 1973 (48 years old), in Maputo, Mozambique, Africa. He is a former professional Portuguese footballer who played as a central defender.
Paul is also a professional football manager. He is currently in line to be Newcastle United’s Head Manager.
After retiring, he started coaching immediately. He was in charge of various modest teams, including C.D. Pinhalense, from 2007 to 2011.
Fonseca moved abroad on May 31, 2016, replacing Mircea Lucescu at Shakhtar Donetsk.
On 11 June 2019, Paulo was appointed manager of A.S. Roma. He led the side to fifth place in Serie A in his first season.
