World-renowned Film Director, Arthur Forrest has passed away.

The Arthur Forrest family confirmed the news of Arthur dying at an age of 95 years old. He was born in New York in 1926.

Arthur has celebrated an awesome 75 years in the television limelight. His best shows are Who Line Is It Anyway and That’s Incredible.

Forrest’s death was confirmed by his wife, Marcy Forrest to Variety. The cause of his death still remains unknown to this point.

Arthur is survived by his wife and also his children, Zak and Nicole. Forrest is also survived by his son-in-law, Steve Byers, his grandchildren; Max, Dahlia, Richard, and Kyle Cascioli.

Arthur resided in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and also his children. Reports confirm that Arthur met his wife while he was working for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Forrest studied at New York University. He got his first job in the TV industry working as a janitor at DuMont Network’s studio. This was shortly after graduating.

Due to his hard work, consistency, and also his patience, Arthur transitioned to become a video assistant and later a cameraman, and eventually, it led to his big break.

However, he left DuMont and for a time to work for New York’s Channel 5. He stayed with the station until 1973 when he left to direct the “Dick Cavett Show.”

Forrest has also produced and directed Jerry Lewis’ Labor Day Telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This gig has been for more than four decades.

He has had 17 Emmy nominations, three Emmy awards, and a Directors Guild of America nomination over the span career.
