Red stricken Porto eliminate Turin giants Juventus on away goal rule.

Juventus fought till the last minute with a 117th-minute goal by Rabiot following Bernadeschi’s corner from the left where Rabiot jumped highest to net a goal across Marchesin and into the top-left corner but, they still lost to the 115th-minute goal by Oliviera who fired a low free-kick under the wall despite Szchesny’s attempt to keep out the goal.

The match ended with Juventus winning 3-2 but they could not wash away the 2-1 loss in Portugal three weeks ago.

Porto opened the game in the 19th minute with a goal from Oliviera’s penalty kick. The Portuguese giants could go on to hold the game to the end of the first half until Federico Chiesa scored in the 49th minute following an assist by Christiano Ronaldo.

Chiesa’s second goal came in the 63rd minute following Taremi’s 54th-minute goal.

This is the first time a Portuguese club has eliminated an Italian compatriot to proceed to the quarter-final. This is truly a milestone for Porto and Portugal.
