Rami Kaib was born on 8th May 1997(24 years old) in Nyköping, Sweden. He is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Dutch club SC Heerenveen.
Kaib is of Tunisian descent from his father and Lebanese from his mother.
He has represented Sweden at the under-19 level(4 appearances). Despite being eligible to represent Tunisia and Lebanon, has stated that he has “ambitions to play for the Swedish national team”, and that he had no intention of representing Lebanon.
On 13 January 2021, Kaib joined Eredivisie side Heerenveen on a four-and-a-half-year deal following a move from IF Elfsborg.
“Well, he ate a carrot and that carrot was quite hard. And then, crack – broken jaw. A carrot!”, Omrop Fryslan reporter Roelof de Vries told RTV Noord.
Kaib is now out of the game with an injury that is set to keep him out for a couple of weeks.
