Phil Butler has sadly passed away at the age of 51. He was a world-renowned comedian and also a magician. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
Phil’s agent, Chris Davis Management issued a statement through their Twitter page.
“It is with huge sadness we have to announce the passing of our friend and client Phil Butler. Our thoughts are with his friends and family. The world is a poorer place without him.”

“RIP lovely talented man. What a terrible shock. We worked together on panto Cinderella and he was a wonderful kind friend. We spent Xmas day and New Year together had a truly fabulous time. I’ll miss you terribly.”

Phil was the first comedian to perform for troops on the front line in Afghanistan. He received the Operational Service Medal for his time there.
