Kentaro Miura was born on July 11, 1966, in Chiba, Chiba, Japan. He was a Japanese manga artist.
Miura was best known for his popular dark fantasy manga Berserk, which began serialization in 1989 and continued until his death.
Kentaro Miura Career and Berserk
As of January 2016, Berserk had over 40 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The Berserk series has spawned a host of merchandise, both official and fan-made, ranging from statues, action figures to key rings, video games, and a trading card game.
In 2002, Miura received the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.

Kentaro’s Cause Of Death
Kentaro passed away at the age of 54 on May 6th, 2021. After an autopsy was conducted, it was concluded that he died of acute aortic dissection. This statement was released by Berserk publisher, Hakusensha.
