Georgiana has revealed that her father Tam Harvey has passed away. Tam was a guitarist for the rock band, The Humblebums.
The Humblebums were a folk-rock band, based in Glasgow, Scotland. Its members included Billy Connolly, guitarist Tam Harvey; and singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty. Billy later became a world-renowned stand-up comedian and also an actor.
The band was signed under the label, Transatlantic Records and was active from 1965 to 1971.
Connoly and Tam founded the group back in Glasgow. They used to play for clubs in and out of the city before becoming a nationwide sensation. Gerry joined the latter back in 1969.

Tam’s daughter, Georgiana revealed the news of her father’s passing away through her social media(Twitter).
Georgiana wrote, “My father died a few hours ago. Here is in his hey day on the right, Tam Harvey. He started a band with Billy Connolly called The Humblebums. Taught him the guitar. He was one of the best guitarists/stringed instruments players from the UK.”
