David Jenkins Age, Career
David Jenkins was born in 1990(31 years old) in Britain. He was a part of the British Olympic diving coaching staff.
In 2015, David received his BSc.in Sports and Exercise Science from the Leeds Beckett University. He was the Development Lead Coach for Dive London, which is England’s top diving program and based out of the London Aquatics Centre.
Even though Jenkins was not their primary coach, Dive London is the home to Olympic gold medalists with the likes of Tom Daley and Matty Lee.
Jenkins had worked for Dive London for eight years. He has coached: Noah Williams and Scarlett Mew-Jensen(both represented Team GB in Tokyo).
Williams, 22, finished 27th in the 10-meter platform event while Mew-Jensen, 19, was 22nd in the 3-meter springboard.
Moreover, during the 2018 commonwealth games, David was nominated for the Diving Coach of the year award.
British Swimming has confirmed that David Jenkins passed away over the weekend with the cause of death still unknown.
