Damaury Mikula,18 years old, is accused of smoking his tires and also running a red light in his Dodge Challenger.
Fox13 reported that this incident happened within the sight of a nearby patrol car that was stopped at an intersection in Odessa. Reports also confirm that Damaury told the police, “he can do whatever he wants”. This was after he allegedly led them on to a high-speed chase.
Reports also confirm, Mikula allegedly sped away from the trooper, hitting speed intervals of more than 100mph.
The trooper went on to follow Mikula home and arrest him. No incident happened nearby or even in Mikula’s driveway. Before being taken to jail, Damaury allegedly told the police, he knew they were chasing after him.
Damaury allegedly said, “I am young, I make a lot of money, I have a fast car and I can do whatever I want,”.

Mikula later apologized to the police officers involved in his arrest. He also told them his lifestyle is “not a good way to live,”.
