Roswell High School Quarterback, Robbie Roper has passed away at the age of 18, from complications of undergoing surgery.

Complications took place after Roper underwent shoulder surgery in Florida. As a result, he ended up on life support.

A joint statement was released by the School and Rober’s family to announce the death of their son. The statement read, “Hey guys it’s Roper’s family.”

“We just wanted to update everyone on Robbie. Robbie just passed.”

” He was the biggest joy to our family. We are proud of the young man he has become. He will be missed by his friends and family dearly.”

“We are still working on funeral arrangements, and will update everyone on the date, time, and location.”

One of the coaches, Coach Roger was saddened by the news of Roper’s death. He wrote on Twitter, “A wonderful young man was taken from this world way too soon.”

“Please Lord keep the Roper family safe and provide them the strength they need to get through this. We will forever remember you and we you more than you will ever know Robbie.”

One user on Twitter claimed to be Robbie’s 8th-grade teacher, also sent her condolences. She wrote,”My deepest condolences for your loss.”

“I thought I would share a picture I took of Robbie in 8th grade. I hope you find some comfort in knowing your family is being lifted up by so many.”

One fan was still in shock when he sent his condolences. He wrote, “Damn. I am so sorry to hear this. Sending condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the family and friends, as well as the community and the people whose lives he touched.”
