According to the report from police, the alleged shooter is an 18-year-old Israel Moreno. Moreno quickly called the emergency services immediately after the incident. Israel also claimed he was just protecting himself in self-defense mode.

Rap videos posted by Yung on Facebook and also Youtube were crucial in identifying him. Yung had 23,000 followers on Instagram.
