Elena Cullell Martinez was born in 1971(50 years old) in the municipality of Gava, Spain. She is Luis Enrique’s wife.

Luis Enrique Martínez García was born on 8 May 1970(51 years old) in Gijon, Spain. He is a Spanish professional football manager and former player.

He is also the current head coach of the Spain national team.

One of the greatest players Spain has to offer, Luis was capable to play in different positions: midfield and forward. This was due to his”animal” disposition and stamina.

Elena graduated in Economics in Barcelona and was an administrator of the company XAGO for six years(2006-2012). When she met Luis Enrique, at the age of 25, she was a ground hostess.

Luis Enrique married Elena Cullell in 1997, two years after meeting one another. Together, the couple has three children.

Their son, Pacho Martinez(22 years old) works as an auditor in the Catalan capital while one of their daughters, Sira Martinez(21 years old) is a professional horse-rider.

Luis Enrique had  another daughter, Xana Martinez. Xana died on 29 August 2019(9 years old) as a result of progressed bone cancer.

“I am very sensitive, but when I have to be strong I can be. What I have experienced with my sister has made me look at life differently”. These are the words of Sira who said the death of her sister changed her and her outlook on life.
