After a dismal first round of 16 in the Champions League, Italy giants, Juventus are required to overturn a 2-1 loss to last season’s Portuguese Champions. Federico Chiesa’s goal at the Estadio do Dragao three weeks ago gives Juventus hopes of progressing despite an extremely poor showing in Portugal.
Juventus are third on the table trailing behind leaders Inter Milan by 10 points with only 12 games remaining whilst FC Porto is second trailing the leaders Sporting CP by 10 points also with only12 games remaining.
HOW JUVENTUS COULD LINE UP:
Andera Pirlo’s side has strong likes of one of the all-time greatest footballers Christiano Ronaldo and also a rising star Morata who has had an amazing season in Allianz Arena scoring 15 across all competitions. Juventus will have to do without Dybala, Bentacur, Danilo, and De Ligt who are out on injury.
Chiellini who has been out on injury could line up with the likes of Cuadrado, Arthur, Chiesa, Sandro, and Ramsey to try and redeem the 2017 UEFA finalists.
HOW PORTO COULD LINE UP:
Porto has major concerns about the unavailability of key men, Pepe and Jesus Corona who are out suffering injuries. Porto is worried about their central defense but rather than that, it has a good squad with the likes of; Marchesin; Manafa, Leite, Zaidu; Oliveira, Uribe, Otavio, Taremi, Marega.
Juventus are trailing behind on an aggregate placing them at 1.61 to progress and at 1.44 to win but they still remain favourites to qualify.
